Love of color and whimsy combined with skilled technique is evidenced in the work of traditional award winning quilter Marty Vint, who was born and raised in Baltimore.

Marty has been quilting for over 30 years and has provided longarm quilting services to customers since 2005. She expertly blends computerized and freehand techniques, completing all her quilting on a Gammill Longarm Quilting Machine . In addition to her quilting work, Marty is a passionate educator, teaching quilting and longarming classes along the East Coast. She is a certified instructor for all versions of Creative Studio and also publishes her own line of quilt patterns.

Her work has been featured in numerous publications and has earned awards at prestigious shows, including the Machine Quilter’s Showcase, the Annual NQA Quilting Show, and the AQS Quilt Show in Paducah, Kentucky. Marty’s quilting artistry has also been showcased on the covers of Ultimate Appliqué Guidebook by Annie Smith, and Baltimore Garden Quilt by Barbara Burnham.
