Edge-to-Edge Designs
(same basic pattern applied to entire quilt)
Quilting designs:
$36.25/square yard (2.8 cents/square inch)
Example: 63″ x 83″ twin quilt would cost $146.00 for labor.
Many types of edge-to- edge designs are available including thematic or textural quilting.
Examples of these include seasonal, florals, swirls, juvenile, feathers, modern, sports and occupational to name but a few.
I recommend looking through the edge-to-edge section of my gallery to get an idea of how edge-to- edge quilting can complete your quilt.
Border-to-Border with separate border settings
2.8 cents /square inch plus an additional $10.00 per border for each separate border setting. Example: 63" x 83" twin quilt would cost $186.00 for labor.
Custom without appliqué
Includes separate planning and designing for entire quilt with all appropriate seams stitched-in-the-ditch.
$84/square yard (6.5 cents/square inch)
Example: 63″ x 83″ twin quilt would cost $340.00 for labor
Custom with appliqué
Includes all basic custom services as well as stitching around appliqué.
Starts at $104.00/square yard (8.0 cents/square inch). Depends upon complexity of appliqué.
NOTE: Minimum Charge for any custom work is $150.00 regardless of size.
Heirloom Custom
Includes cross-hatching to 1/2″ as well as show quality planning and execution.
Starts at $116.00/square yard (9.0cents/square inch)

Minimum Charge
My minimum charge for quilting services is $75.00. Note that my charges include all set up fees and all threads as well as trimming the quilt if desired by the customer. The threads I use include Superior’s King Tut and So Fine, Fil-Tech’s Glide, and Signature’s All Cotton.
Notes about backing:
Customer must provide backing fabric which is at least 8″ wider and longer than the quilt top. If the backing is pieced, please cut away selvedges first and then allow 1/2″ seam. Press this seam open.
